Question 1

How do i get started with a 4G IIOT Gateway Router to publish my remote data to the cloud?


Ans: We have a standard package that comes with the 4G iiot gateway router + Online Training that teaches you how to configure the modbus RTU / TCP interface for data acquisition with publishing data to Cloud. After a half a day training, you should be able to connect your data to Cloud. The training includes the dashboard design as well. do email us to find out more.




Question 2

Our client has a case on wanting to detect a defect at one of the product at the production line. How do i use the AIS in this case?

Ans : First of all, AIoT AIS Connect comes with a complete AI suite with a camera for you to start building a POC with Vision AI solution. you need dataset from the production floor to train the AI model. Once the AI Model is built successfully, you can transfer the AI model to any of Axiomtek's AI edges to perform the AI inferencing or You may use the AIS development suite to perform the same. Meaning you have two choice to work on this.

Question 3

We are from the IT department. How do I present the AI result or have any GUI to show this once the AI inspection is done? What about if I would like to get the data for our reporting purposes?


AIS (Artificial Intelligence System) features a simple Graphical User Interface (GUI) that displays the detection outcome. It has an embedded SCADA tool that allows the AI data to be passed to the embedded SCADA for processing. You can use the scripting tool to manipulate the data or you can also use the GUI tool to present the data ( it is a straightforward process). To answer your 2nd question, the AIS suite or Edge has a built-in Web API server that hosts the related AI data or results where you can write your own process to call the API to retrieve the online data for your presenting and reporting purpose.

I saw there is a GPIO on the AI Edge system. How do i program those to take in input or trigger the output?

Ans : First of all, our IIOT Edge and AI Edge are also equipped with nonisolated GPIO. So, It comes as an option with a daughter board to give you an isolated input (4 points) and relay output ( 4 points) for you to handle any Digital IO requirement in the process.

In the IIOT Edge, the trigger of the IO is via a scripting tool in the embedded SCADA. For the EDGE AI, is by configuration in the configuration menu where it is an event-based capturing and triggering that link to the AI system.

Q : How do I know if we can apply AI to some projects?


Ans: Most of the Vision AI-based projects originated from the requirement to replace Humans with machines to perform the Task that require continuous monitoring for long hours. Vision AI is one of the ways that allows you to train the machine to perform the human's task without fail and give you better accuracy and fewer mistakes once the AI model is properly trained.
